@zprebeckThank you for asking your questions!

  • The Monday schedule is very busy. You can certainly attend the portions of the workshops and meetings that are most relevant to you. However, the workshop does have the $99 fee and that cannot be reduced if you only attend one session. I would suggest looking at the workshops you signed up for and selecting the one most relevant. Depending on the session you select, you may then be able to make it to the Fusion 101 session!
  • The agenda builder will be live the week of February 12!

Hi!

Will we be able to quickly identify people in similar fields who use Concur (i.e. will all Gov't Contractors have a certain color laynard or something)?

Do we reserve a seat for the sessions we're interested in? If so, while we're there, if we find we want to attend a different session than what we reserved, how easy is it to attend that different session?

Do you find alot of the attendees stay at the conference location?

Thanks in advance!

I like your suggestion about the "color coding" to find people in the same industry!

Last year sessions were first come/first served so suggest getting to the room you want to be in and grabbing a seat before going for refreshments.

@kullmanncThank you for your questions!

  • There are a few ways that you can identify and connect with others from your industry:
    • There will be dedicated sessions (search by "Government Contracting" as a keyword in the session catalog)
    • We will have colored pins that you can use to self-identify and find others in your industry
    • You will be able to search by role and industry in the mobile app for other attendees and direct message them to meet up
    • There will be scheduled meet ups for various industries at the event - check out the daily schedule at the Engagement Zone onsite to see meet up times
  • Adding a session to your schedule does not guarantee a seat, sessions are first come, first served. However, you can move about sessions as you wish if you find the one you are in does not meet your needs.
  • We will have many attendees staying at the Marriott World Center Orlando (more than half) and there are lots of opportunities to connect outside the conference itself (at restaurants, by the pool, etc.).

We look forward to seeing you in Orlando!

Thanks so much for your response! Very helpful:slightly_smiling_face:

I do have a couple more questions:

Could you clarify the difference between a Roundtable and a Brain Date? Is the brain date just 2 people with a facilitator?

How are these sessions structured? Is it a big room with several tables that have the discussions going on, or is it a more "private" setup as to not get distracted with the other conversations? Do they take place during the "Educational Sessions and Micro Forums" time on the available agenda?

Thanks again!

Chrissy

Hi@kullmannc- great questions!

Both Roundtable and Brain Date sessions are a great way to network with other attendees!

For Roundtables, the conversation is guided by a session host and each session is focused on a certain topic. You'll be at a table with 7-9 other attendees, however there are 10-20 round tables in each room, so these sessions have a much larger number of attendees in the room,

大脑的日期,你会用一个另外一个表er attendee and will rotate tables every 8 minutes. While we'll provide some conversation starter questions, you're welcome to discuss any topics you'd like! These sessions are also much smaller, with seating for 40 people total.

Both session formats take place during the educational sessions and micro forum timeslots on the agenda. Additional session details can be found on the Session Catalog - feel free to navigate them easily using our format filters.

Please let us know if you have any other quetsions!

Thanks,

I am signed up for Monday's pre-conference reporting sessions and will be staying at a conference hotel. Will the shuttle from the conference hotels be running on Monday for the pre-conference sessions?

HI, will there be airport shuttles upon arrival to the conference hotels and on the way back? Thanks

@schmiachThanks for your question, and we look forward to seeing you at Fusion 2020! We will not be offering airport shuttles to and from the conference hotels.

Hi everyone,

Have you attended a consulting session previously? What did you find the most valuable?

@Tracey- thank you for your question! Customers who take advantage of the Consulting Sessions at Fusion have shared that they enjoy the opportunity to dive into their questions specific to the setup of their SAP Concur solutions. That 45 minutes with an expert in Concur Expense, Travel, Invoice, or Reporting can be super valuable in addressing your long-standing questions.

Thank you!
