Mileage reimbursement rates UAE private vehicles

Would like to know what companies use for the source of these rates. We use the Rotary mileage calculator for non US mileage rates but the 2018-19 rates do not include UAE. I tried googling if the UAE government has specified a rate but they only recommend giving a transporation allowance. Can you share how you determine rates for UAE specifically.

I came to this discussion as I am in the same boat where we need to identify a mileage rate fo Saudi Arabia/UAE. Would you be able to share what you ended up using?

For Saudi Arabia, we confirmed there are no personal income taxes so there is no need to consider a tax exemption amount. In most countries there is this in place.

Hi Brenda,

The UAE Government only recommends a reimbursement package for business travel, hence we referred this matter to our Accounting and Finance Team in UAE. They gave me a number to load for Mileage reimbursement in Concur.
